The
Client Service Associate (CSA) is responsible for helping our clients to secure and service life, disability, and long-term care insurance. This role is the frontline professional helping our clientele be financially prepared for an untimely disability or death. Economically, this role accounts for a substantial portion of the Kinzinger Group’s gross income. Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Insurance Application & Underwriting
- Work with advisor & client to gather information needed for application
- Schedule necessary medical exams
- Review Illustrations for accuracy
- Collect supporting documentation
- Complete Client On boarding
- Assist with registering client website
- Gather marketing info
- Review Daily Status Report to determine outstanding underwriting items
- Update underwriting reports to reflect change
- Send weekly e mail of underwriting progress to team
- Communicate with underwriters on issues and decisions
- Communicate under writing process and updates to client
- Obtain any additional information needed from underwriting
- Send weekly status e mail to client
- Schedule delivery call with client
- Prepare and send required delivery documentation
Insurance & Client Servicing
- Respond to home office inquiries and alerts
- Communicate and process and billing issues
- Execute Client Requests
- Process incoming non securities related insurance service requests from clients
- Verbally confirm, case note, and confirm completion
- Manage & Own CRM
- Manage monthly householding report
- Review duplicate accounts
- Manage Insurance Sales Opportunities
- Review open opportunities and assist with follow up and collecting client information
Advisor Support
- Manage Client Review Scheduling
- Create advisor call list
- Weekly phoning
- Upload client files to secure website
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Health and Life licensed or gain licensing within 1 month of employment
- Financial Service or Insurance industry experience preferred
- Associate Agent Contract required
- Experience in administrative support or customer service, preferably in the financial services and/or insurance industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications and data entry and information retrieval software
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills and ability to multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to proactively identify what needs to be accomplished and take action as appropriate
- Has interest in learning on a continuous basis
- Ability to embrace change and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
