Responsibilities:We are currently seeking a motivated optometrist to join our esteemed team as we expand our practice. As a primary care optometry office, our focus lies on the specialized domains of contact lenses (Ortho-k, Sclerals, myopia control, Hybrid lenses).

- Prescribe corrective lenses or other vision aids as needed
- Provide personalized recommendations for eye care and eyewear options
- Perform specialized tests such as glaucoma screenings, visual field tests, and retinal exams
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns they may have
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists, to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in optometry and incorporate them into practiceRequirements:
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry program
- Valid state license to practice optometry
- Strong knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to perform detailed examinations and accurately diagnose eye conditions
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications
- Experience in pediatric optometry is preferred but not required
