New Day, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time, M-F HR Generalist!
Under direct supervision of the Director of Human Resources, this position is required to perform assigned tasks independently, effectively, and accurately. HR Generalists help manage recruitment, benefits administration and record maintenance for the employees and serve as a contact between the HR department and the rest of the organization. They prepare files and forms for new employee onboarding, update employment status and help department supervisors within the employee evaluation processes. HR Assistants sort and update records, dispose of old records properly update and maintain employee information and other key documents.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee database and files.
- Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and exhibit diplomacy and tact.
- Assist Director of HR in policy formulation, hiring and onboarding administration.
- Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates and schedule and assist in job interviews.
- Coordinate orientation and training sessions for onboarding and annual compliance training.
- Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries.
- Support employees with efficient problem-solving when any human resources issues arise.
- Reinforce the company policies, rules, and procedures to ensure employees’ safety.
- Coordinate with Director of Human Resources, QA Coordinator, CPR and CPI trainers to ensure staff certification & training is completed, recorded & compliant per New Day, Inc. policies.
- Conduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and New Day, Inc. administration.
Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, a positive attitude, strong word processing skills and spreadsheet preparation and tracking skills. This position will schedule and coordinate interviews and meetings and requires calendaring skills. During the onboarding process and to accommodate annual training updates, this position requires presentation skills, administrative writing, and reporting skills. Organizational skills are essential to maintaining HR workflow and processes.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
