The Estimator role they are responsible for creating proposed estimate & line-item invoices in Xactimate and IICRC standards. This role will also require effective coordination with technicians and field personnel to ensure the success of each project. A good candidate will be detailed oriented and understand both residential and commercial insurance restoration and working with TPA's
Have to have construction knowledge which includes: an understanding of building materials, flooring, and other materials and how they are affected by wind, water, fire, smoke, and other property damage causes is a plus.
This position will be predominately in office and in field scoping.
The interested candidate must be organized, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced work environment. Candidate will also have good verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and in a team setting across our various geographic locations.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Creating & billing estimates for mitigation jobs in Xactimate or Symbility • Scoping work in collaboration with Production Manager / Production Supervisor / Crew Leader under the supervision of the Operations Manager.
- Ensuring all required paperwork and project documentation is completed, and information is entered correctly in the system by field personnel and working with TPA programs (photos, notes and signed documents, measurements, etc.).
- Communicating with insurance companies/adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner and acts as a liaison.
- Keeping up with daily insurance company program stipulations and moisture documentation software.
- Coordinate with technicians and field personnel to obtain data from site visits, job scopes and any other information needed to estimate mitigation services.
- Using carrier audit standards and managing estimates based on feedback from client and customer.
- Responding to revision requests and estimate exceptions in a timely manner.
Candidate must be self-motivated and willing to learn independently while remaining coachable and use to a fast pace.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
