**Job Overview:** We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse in our Level II Trauma Center, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment. **Duties:** - Deliver direct patient care in Medical/Surgical units, ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients. - Monitor and assess patients' conditions, recognizing any changes and responding promptly. - Administer medications, treatments, and IV insertions as prescribed by healthcare providers. - Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to plan and manage patient care plans. - Conduct family planning discussions and provide education on post-discharge care. - Engage in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients. - Utilize acute care skills to address the needs of patients across different age groups, including children and seniors. - Participate in clinic activities and procedures as required. - Demonstrate expertise in dialysis procedures for patients requiring such care. **Requirements:** - Active RN license demonstrating eligibility to practice. - Strong knowledge of physiology to assess and address patient needs effectively. - Experience working in acute care settings, preferably in a Level II Trauma Center. - Proficiency in IV insertion techniques and experience with administering injections. - Familiarity with discharge planning processes to facilitate patient transitions. - Ability to provide compassionate senior care services when needed.
