POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:
To serve as the primary business partner for Commercial and Supply Chain teams, partnering to provide financial expertise and analysis on key functional strategies and decisions. Provide the Commercial Team financial support on pricing, margin analysis, and new business quoting. Lead financial reporting and creation of short- and long-term forecasts as well as the annual business plan. Lead analysis and reporting on variances to plan and forecast. Guide strategic direction for Business Intelligence and Analytics efforts as it relates to financial planning.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree.

Six plus years’ commensurate accounting or finance experience.

Demonstrated leadership in skill building and talent development.

Strong analytical, problem solving, and qualitative skills.

Ability to gather data from multiple sources, and report findings.

Experience with business intelligence & analytics platforms to drive analysis, decision-making, and reporting.

Demonstrated capability of independently leading processes and projects to completion.

Experience participating effectively and leading teams within the function and cross-functionally.

Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with other functional areas.

Experience in partnering with the business to drive improvements and results.

Strong written and verbal communication skills requiring tact and discretion in working with and explaining financial data to employees at all levels of the organization.

Proficient with advanced features of Microsoft Office software products (Excel, Power Point, Access, Word).

Three years’ experience working with an integrated ERP system (Oracle preferred)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and/or CPA or CMA.

Eight plus years' accounting experience.

Experience leading a commercial or supply chain finance team.

Prior experience with Oracle Financials and/or Hyperion Planning and Reporting.

Strong business process knowledge, particularly across commercial and supply chain (including purchasing, logistics, supply planning & demand planning) functions.

Advanced financial analysis ability.
-
Significant exposure to cost accounting, financial forecasting, and capital investment decision making in a manufacturing environment.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develop and maintain business partner relationships with the commercial and supply chain leadership teams.

Develop strong relationships with Commercial and Supply Chains teams to provide guidance, data, and input on key decisions and processes.

Lead the FP&A team with focus on talent development, coaching for performance, and attracting and growing top talent.

Direct and coordinate the monthly and annual forecasting process to ensure accuracy.
-
Direct and coordinate the quarterly long-term forecast creation, review, and quarterly Board of Director’s Book submission.
-
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve forecast models.
-
Lead the monthly financial close process.
-
Report, analyze, and communicate monthly results for the business.
-
Review the monthly business balance sheet for accuracy and ensure the necessary controls are in place for the various business cycles.

Coordinate and drive improvements in the monthly financial reporting process to provide support to various business partners, staff members, and executive team.

Participate in the monthly S&OP process by providing the necessary financial information.

Partner with the Digital team to provide input and guidance to ensure reports are accurately and efficiently created to create clarity and transparency across the business.

Utilize financial modeling tools providing information for decision-making, and offering recommendations based on analysis.

Drive a Continuous Improvement culture.

Assist in the improvement of profitability through in-depth analysis of operations, identifying areas of weakness and opportunity.

Support corporate financial requirements as needed for tax, audit, financial closing, and reporting.

Integrate existing financial systems and processes with the corporate standard, where justified.
