About us
Currently seeking an Anesthesiologist to work as a full time Independent Contractor in Glendora, ca. 1 hour from the pacific Coast, 2 hours to the desert, and less than 20 minutes to the San Gabriel Mountains.
- Full time Independent Contractor on a (1099) allows for flexibility and great tax advantages. As an Independent Contractor you will be doing your own billing, In addition to securing a monthly Stipend ranging from 19K to 20K.
- The majority of days end by 3 PM, which allows for favored work-life balance.
- Most of our Anesthesiologist have been on the Team for more than 10 years.
- Most cases are outpatients, about 25% inpatients.
- Our team has a long history and a strong relationship with hospital staff and surgeons.
- Rotations of 1,2,3 and 4th call. Weekends , 1st or 2nd call. - 2nd call rarely gets call back.
- All Calls are Compensated.
```Duties```
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, during surgery
- Adjust anesthesia levels as needed to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop an appropriate anesthesia plan for each patient
- Provide pre-operative consultations to assess patients' medical history and determine the best anesthesia approach
- Perform post-operative evaluations to ensure patients are recovering well from anesthesia

-No Pediatrics, No OB, No Cardiac, No Backs.
```Requirements```
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency program in anesthesiology
- Board certification or eligibility for board certification in anesthesiology
- Valid medical license in the state of California
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and adherence to patient privacy guidelines
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical test results
- Familiarity with medical office software systems, such as medi-tech, for electronic medical record keeping
- Expertise in various anesthesia techniques, including general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and sedation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to infection control protocols and maintaining a sterile surgical environment
