Frankfort, KY area skilled nursing facility seeking an experienced Director of Maintenance to join our team. The Director of Maintenance is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing all aspects of the maintenance program.
Director of Maintenance Job Duties:
- Assure that all facility structures and defective machines, equipment, and appliances are in good operating condition, are repaired or replaced.
- See that grounds and facility are kept safe, neat, and orderly.
- Conduct and ensure Life Safety requirements are met.
- Organize, maintain, and store all department-specific supplies and equipment.
- Complete forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc. related to the Maintenance Department.
- Make sure all maintenance work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise planned program of preventive maintenance.
- Responsibility for staffing, training, supervision, discipline, and schedule for department.
Director of Maintenance Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least three years of maintenance-related experience and basic knowledge in carpentry, painting, plumbing, and lawn care required.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations applicable to nursing home facilities preferred.
- Must be available for on-call for urgent facility needs.
