Job Title: Medical Assistant
We are a full-service Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Practice serving the greater Denver metro area. Our doctors have over 20+ years of experience treating allergy, asthma, and immunological conditions. We treat all ages, infant through adult.
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our rapidly growing and reputable patient oriented private practice in the specialty of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology in the Denver metro area with a passion for assisting healthcare professionals and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in diagnostic test, allergies, PFT's
- Perform patient intake procedures, including measuring vital signs, documenting medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers and ensure accurate documentation.
- Handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and maintain health records with precision.
- Collaborate with all staff to deliver comprehensive patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Utilize coding knowledge to accurately document procedures and diagnoses for billing purposes.
- Provide basic life support when necessary and respond effectively to medical emergencies.
Experience:
- Proven experience working in a medical setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic environment.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, physiology knowledge, and understanding of healthcare practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with patients of all ages.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
