Truck Driver
Duties:
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any mechanical issues or damages -Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport construction debris and site finish materials to designated locations
- Dump & Semi-Dump experience in unloading materials using appropriate trucking equipment and techniques
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and on sites
- Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption and mileage
- Communicate with site foreman, team members and dispatch to coordinate truck rotation schedules
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, transportation guidelines and truck maintenance
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably tractor-trailers
- Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles
- Experience with various types of tractor trailers and dump trucks
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation for loading and unloading purposes
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated
Skills:
- CDL Class A Semi-Dump & Dump Trailer driving skills and a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws , regulations and local area
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or other navigation tools
- Attention to detail in inspecting vehicles for safety and maintenance issues
- Good communication skills to interact with team members, dispatch and community members where work occurs
