Help adolescents recover from mental health and substance use challenges at an 18-bed residential treatment center on a beautiful 100-acre horse farm in Killingworth, Connecticut. The Killingworth team includes: psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, wellness coordinators, academic advisors, operations staff, kitchen staff, and more.
Job Description
Turnbridge is looking for a Kitchen Aide, preferably with two years of kitchen prep/cooking experience for our Young Women's Residential Program. Expectations would be to cook and provide meals for 20-30 clients and staff daily.
This position requires the following schedule:
A mix of the working hours of 8am to 4pm AND 11am to 7pm.
Primary responsibilities would include:
- Manage a kitchen and prepare food in accordance with established menus, recipes and sanitary standards.
- Take inventory, place orders, take and receive deliveries, organize, and store food properly
- Have strong communication and problem solving skills.

Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in an institutional food service environment, or enrollment in culinary program and strong desire to learn.

- Serve Safe Certified
