Seeking a dynamic, professional & tenured CFO for our senior living, non-profit community. The ideal candidate should be detailed oriented, precise, understanding of non-profit models & is a “doer” rather than someone who simply delegates. Experience in long-term care communities is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities:

compile and manage a nonprofit's budget
- manage investments
- oversee tax statements
- ensure that nonprofit financial documents are in order
- track cash flow for a nonprofit organization
- prepare reports for the board of directors or other oversight groups
- oversee key financial decisions
- oversee human resources for the nonprofit
- draft and approve nonprofit checks
- ensure that nonprofit employees within the organization are compliant with the organization's policies and bylaws.
- conduct loan reviews
- determine compliance with IRS regulations, ACA requirements and IRS Form 990 requirements
- manage bank relationships and ensure compliance with financial activities reporting requirements of banks
- prepare nonprofit annual financial statements
- oversee payroll for nonprofit employees
- assist in identifying and/or obtaining grant funding opportunities and ensure compliance with grant requirements
- ensure that the organization prepares tax returns on time and without errors
