Gexcon is looking for a self-driven team member to join the US Sales Team. The Technical Sales position will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by building the pipeline for sales and expanding our market share in North America.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following attributes:
- 2-5 years proven experience in a technical consulting or technical sales role, preferably in safety or engineering.
- Self-driven and hungry to grow in a technically challenging environment. Required to learn complex computational fluid mechanic software and problem solving.
- M.S. in a technical discipline preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and compellingly.
- Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Weekly travel within the US and North America.
- English speaking required, bilingual in English-Spanish preferred.
Key responsibilities are:
- Sales: Increase market share and revenue for consulting and software business. Deliver live presentations and demonstrations of Gexcon’s consulting and software (empirical and CFD) offering to a technical audience on a weekly basis. Meet pipeline and account development targets for the US and Canada for services and software. Send timely economic proposals to prospects and maintain CRM up to date.
- Business Development: Develop new customers in targeted industries. Attend conferences and follow up diligently with clients and prospects. Coordinate and deliver lunch and learn and other activities to promote relevant products and services. Convey messages succinctly and engage in technical and business discussions.
- Client Engagement: Develop meaningful relationships and establish technical credibility through virtual and face-to-face interactions with clients and prospects. Able to build relationships with prospective customers and qualify commercial opportunities accordingly.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for marketing of Gexcon’s capabilities. Assist in developing marketing material.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Gexcon’s CEO, technical and marketing teams to understand expertise, case studies, packages of work, technology capabilities, technical papers and develop an organized resource pool for use in all commercial engagements.
