Building Blocks Behavior Interventions provides Behavior Therapy to children, and adolescents with developmental disabilities in the Central Florida area. Building Blocks will only use up-to- date behavior interventions that are supported by scientific research in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Required to work 40 hours work week with 25 hours of billable services.
- Supervise RBT and BCBA.
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and develop evidence-based behavior intervention plans
- Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to behavior technicians, guardians, and other team members on your caseload
- Monitor and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make data-driven adjustments
- Assist with monitoring progress and training of all RBTs in the community.
- Review and update schedules with scheduling team on a daily and weekly basis. Ensuring all staff members are obtaining their optimal direct hours.
- Communicate client's schedule changes with BCBAs, RBTs and parents.
- Supervise and meet with BCBA on a monthly basis making sure CR instructional goals are up to date, supervision is up to standard.
- Oversee the daily operations and the implementation of treatment programs.
- Provide staff training and supervision.
- Assist with the development and implementation of additional programs such as staff/parent training, social skills group, etc (if applicable)
- Complete first verbal and written level disciplinary actions when necessary
- Track attendance of staff and clients.
- Monitor and schedule meetings for attendance issues.
- Ensure all policy and procedures of the company are being followed in the community setting.
- Communicate with supervisors on a weekly basis.
- Review and edit treatment plans.
- Oversee staff performance and client progress.
- Ensure integrity and address ethical concerns.
- Oversee insurance plans, Central Reach entries, and client notes on a weekly basis.
- Assist with recruiting and hiring applicants RBT and BCBA positions.
- Assist new clients and complete the process of enrolling potential clients into the system.
- Address staff/client questions and concerns in the community setting.
- Create, send, and report staff and parent/guardian satisfaction surveys on a quarterly schedule. Compose strategies for increasing staff/ parent guardian satisfaction of the company.
- Able to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active
- Recognize and report any abuse.
