THE POSITION
Junior Payroll and HR Administrator provides administrative support within the Human Resources department of the organization. Their primary duties include assisting with the hiring process, helping to create and schedule employee training and entering employee records into the company database. Payroll duties include compiling hourly and salaried employee pay for entry into payroll system. Responsibilities include, but not limited, to:

Work closely with HQ personnel department

Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, pension contributions and tax deductions

Liaise with managers regarding employee timesheets; review downloaded information for completeness and accuracy

Process payroll data for field and office personnel into the Payroll system (ADP)

Answer employee queries regarding payroll matters and HR

Ensure all processes and procedures are carried out in accordance with defined policy.

Compile internal management reports from the payroll software

Manage employee benefits in payroll software

Administrative support as required by Operation Manager and Region Manager

Liaise with employees regarding pay, timesheets, and reimbursements

Onboarding of new employees through Drug and Alcohol testing appointments, background checks using ADP or DISA, etc.

Maintaining employee handbook

Maintaining employee records in ISNetworld
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS

College degree
-
Self-starter and motivated, able to work with limited supervision

Minimum of 3 years working experience in an HR assistant and payroll function

ADP Workforce Now proficiency
-
ISNetworld experience preferred

Computer literate with advanced Excel skills

Time management and organizational skills
