As the Senior Director of Core Products, you will lead the strategic development, management, and execution of our core product lines. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our product strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring our products meet the evolving needs of the digital payments ecosystem. Your leadership will directly impact our market position, driving growth and maintaining our competitive edge.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and market demand.
Lead the product lifecycle management from concept through launch and iteration, ensuring products meet user needs, regulatory requirements, and are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure cohesive product development and go-to-market strategies.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the digital payments landscape.
Foster innovation within the product team, encouraging the development of new ideas and features that enhance our product offerings.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance and user satisfaction.
Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gather feedback and insights, ensuring our products continue to serve and exceed market expectations.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines related to digital payments and financial services.
Requirements:
Commercially astute with strong analytical and presentation skills
Practical experience of core payments’ products, ideally with expert knowledge of ISA’s and distribution of products through a range of channel partners
Experience building both new products (0 1) as well as track record of shipping continuous product improvements to an existing product portfolio, ideally for B2C & B2B2C channels
Knowledge of the regulatory requirements associated with the US payment sector is essential
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions.
Agile and adaptable, with a startup mentality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management within the digital industry, with a proven track record of successful product launches and management.
Proven track record of successfully delivering and iterating digital products.
Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience working in an agile development environment.
