Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Office Manager (Temporary) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with basic computer skills, particularly in programs like Excel. They should be very organized and comfortable communicating with customers about our moving services. We will provide all necessary training to ensure you are well-equipped for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Office Manager in daily administrative tasks.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
- Schedule and coordinate moving services.
- Maintain and update customer records and schedules using computer programs.
- Prepare and manage documents, reports, and spreadsheets in Excel.
- Ensure smooth communication between office staff and moving crews.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
- Assist with billing and invoicing processes.
- Basic Clerical Duties like paying bills and calling vendors for pricing
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus.
- Basic computer skills, especially proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (excel is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks and software.
- Previous experience in an office setting or customer service role is preferred.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer-focused attitude.
