Experience & Education:
The Production Planner plans, schedules, and monitors the flow of products through the production plant and provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve internal financial goals and customer service delivery dates. Must possess good analytical skills.

- Must have at least 2 years of planning experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Review open sales orders and work with plant management to determine customer requirements.
- Release manufacturing work orders to the warehouse.
- Coordinate between manufacturing and warehouse material shortages and needs.
- Notify sales of any schedule impacts to customers.
- Coordinate and expedite manufacturing builds to ensure on time deliveries
- Completes extensive review of all completed work orders for correct materials and costs.
- Utilize the ERP system and make improvements where needed for processes.
- Work with engineering to ensure correct bills of material and routings for manufactured items.
- Update BOM’s as needed in the ERP system.
- Ensure inventory is correct throughout the month.
- Responsible for following up with customer service post-production to insure that the customer is aware that their product is available for delivery or pickup.
- Supports production function by assisting in the coordination of drawing approval by customers when Sales Managers are not available to coordinate drawing approval.
- Prepares serial number plates.
- Manages field service and repair function.
- Performs other duties as required by company management.
