Physical Requirements
- Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, especially during busy times when assisting clients or managing salon activities.
- Sitting: Comfortable sitting for prolonged periods while performing administrative tasks such as computer work, answering phones, and managing appointments.
- Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and point-of-sale systems, as well as handling paperwork and organizing salon supplies.
- Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying boxes of supplies, beauty products, or equipment, typically weighing up to 25 pounds, to stock shelves or assist with inventory management.
- Reaching and Stretching: Reaching for files, supplies, or equipment on shelves or in storage areas, as well as stretching to access items in cabinets or drawers.
- Fine Motor Skills: Precise hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for tasks like typing, writing, handling small items, and operating salon equipment.
- Visual Acuitv: Clear vision with or without corrective lenses, to read documents, use computer screens, and assist clients with product selection or paperwork.
- Auditory Skills: Ability to hear and understand verbal instructions, phone conversations, and client inquiries in a salon environment with background noise.
