Construction Superintendent –
Material Handling Equipment
Installation
Our team is looking for an experienced construction superintendent to manage some of our equipment installation projects. This position requires substantial travel throughout the country. Prior experience installing conveyors, racking or platforms is desirable.
We expect you to supervise multiple crews and deliver projects on time.
Your duties will also include documenting potential change orders and managing team productivity to stay within budgeted hours. Success in this role requires knowing how to implement quality, health, and safety standards on site.
This role requires excellent communication skills as you will collaborate with various groups and people: management team, construction workers, project managers, clients, and engineers.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs
- Deliver project within allotted hours and scheduled completion milestones
- Plan construction processes
- Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback
- Plan for inspections
- Implement safety and quality guidelines
- Order the appropriate rental equipment for the installation, and arrange for regular maintenance or replacement if required
- Keep track of material/orders received on site
- Submit complete Status Reports weekly
- Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
- Resolve onsite issues and emergencies
- Able to conduct on site meetings with GC, sub-contractors, and client
Requirements
- Five years previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role
- OSHA 30 certification for construction safety
- Knowledge of quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
- Ability to read and understand installation drawings
- Certified for forklift/scissor lift/lull operation a plus
- In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lead and inspire multiple teams
- High school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English
- Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $77,000.00 - $127,000.00 per year
