Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Salary: $14-16/hr

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure that all packages are accurately labeled, shipped on time, and delivered to the correct destination. This role requires someone who is reliable and able to work independently. They must also possess the proficiency to read and understand vendor invoices, bills of lading, packing slips, and internal company documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments, ensuring that they are accurate and in good condition.
- Process all outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and arranging for pick-up or delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking information, delivery confirmation, and billing details.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all shipments are delivered on time and to the correct destination.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping and safety regulations, including hazardous materials handling, customs requirements, and security protocols.
- Assist with other duties as needed, including inventory management and general warehouse tasks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a shipping or logistics role (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of shipping software and systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with aviation industry regulations and procedures (preferred but not required).
