Summary
The Jr Project manager will report to the Operations Manager at PSA. Responsibility will be to support operations manager in any capacity required, examples to include; vendor/subcontractor supervision on day-to-day tasks. Meet with client and Manage projects from a high level. Document findings and report on status. Provide info for Client status meeting updates, and follow up with tower leads on initiatives and keep an accurate running tally of work on-going. Will need some working knowledge of IT processes and procedures, in addition IT Data Center exposure is a plus.
Responsibilities

Interact with clients regarding the nature of the business need or issue to be addressed.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Review and interpret business requirements and develop detailed technical requirements.

Facilitate development of project plans related to schedule, budget, scope and resources.

Ensure achievement of business goals and objectives by proactively communicating with project stakeholders.

Follow IT development processes such as change management, configuration management, security compliances.

Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical personnel, both verbally and in writing.

Act as escalation point for incidents and alerts.

Prepare reports and conduct meetings with client, partners and staff .

Create documentation for project activity audit trail.

Other tasks as requested by the Project Executive

Quarterly backup\restore verification.

Implement\maintain infrastructure documentation
Requirements
-
5 years of experience managing IT projects and/or people any experience is a plus.

Conceptual understanding of IT operations including Data Center, Network Operations, Help Desk and field support

General knowledge of:

Network storage

Isilon Storage
- Microsoft Office 365 G3, G5, F2

Server 2012\2016\2022 maintenance and administration

Familiarity of ITSM systems, ServiceNow and Smartsheet’s is preferred

Ability to work in the field, in an office setting.

Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing

Five or more (5+) years relevant business support and/or general analysis experiences

Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Products

Possess strong analytical, problem solving, and leadership skills

Required to work outside normal business hours as needed
