We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly.
```Responsibilities```
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding or other fabrication techniques
- Supervise and coordinate contractors when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Proven experience in maintenance or related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Proficient in using CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically and analytically
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively
