Position Summary:
Oversees, coordinates and maintains facilities for all Agfinity retail sites. As Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations and maintenance of our store facilities. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to creating a safe and pleasant environment for our customers and staff. As Technician you should be capable of performing repairs and periodic services to equipment in the following categories: Minor electrical, fuel dispenser repair, plumbing, landscaping, general mechanical and the maintenance and cleaning of property.
Essential Functions:

Conduct regular inspections of store facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from store managers and address any issues efficiently.

Daily utilization of retail facilities planner app on phone and on computer.
-
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
-
Conduct regular inventory checks of maintenance supplies and equipment, and reorder as necessary.

To included, but not limited to, the following:

Diagnose, repair and clean fuel pumps and associated equipment.

Diagnose and repair plumbing systems, i.e. toilets, faucets, exposed lines and filters.
-
Repair other store fixtures as required.
-
Painting of parking lots and pumps areas.
-
Cleaning and repair of parking lots.
-
Lawn care and maintenance of shrubbery and weed prevention.
-
Preventative maintenance and filter change of HVAC systems.
-
Perform service functions. Diagnose the root cause of equipment problems to prevent further reoccurrence.

Always represent the Retail division and maintenance department professionally.
-
Perform service function thoroughly and completely to minimize repeat calls. Respond to afterhours calls and weekend emergency service calls.
Other Duties:

Assist in the setup and installation of new equipment and fixtures.

Train store staff in basic maintenance tasks and safety procedures.

Assists other departments as needed and maintains availability for emergency situations.

Performs all other related duties as requested or assigned.
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Valis Driver's License and reliable transportation required
Experience:
-
Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a facility maintenance field required
Knowledge/Skills:
-
Proven experience as a Facilities and Maintenance Technician, preferably in a retail or similar environment.

Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems efficiently.
-
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
-
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
Reasoning Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and other employees of the organization.

Ability to follow oral and written instructions and to interpret policies and procedures accurately

Ability to educate others on facility related issues
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach above shoulders; use foot/feet to operate equipment; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
