Herzog Transit Services, Inc. is currently seeking a Contract Administrator in Miami, FL to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Requires a detail-oriented professional to review contract terms and deliverables and ensure compliance with contract deliverable requirements.
- Responsible for reviewing cost estimates, performance requirements, insurance certificates, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Works closely with subcontractors to coordinate extra work estimate submittals, approvals, work performance and invoicing.
- Reviews subcontractor estimates and submittals for conformance to requirements.
- Prepares cost estimates for review and approval.
- Maintains accurate records and contract documentation utilizing document control software (Prolog).
- Works closely with management to ensure proper implementation and execution of contracts.
- Prepares all contract letters for review and approval.
- Organizes and maintains all contract files.
- Maintains accurate records for National Transit Data utilizing Excel (HITS/TPS).
- Assists in maintaining customer and subcontractor relationships.
- Occasional inter-office travel.
- Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Excellent organizational, communication and follow-up skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple competing priorities.
- Ability to work across departmental lines.
- Ability to work with external customers and subcontractors.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Positive and solutions focused attitude.

- Familiarity with contract/document management tools (ProLog)
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Suite.
- Prior experience in a professional services environment.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
- Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen due to the safety sensitive nature of this position.
- Successfully complete and maintain and required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
