High Volume Steakhouse seeking Sous Chef. Minimum 3-5 years of NYC experience as Sous Chef with a high-end restaurant. Excellent growth potential. We are looking for a long term employee not someone who wants to spend a year with us. The position offers excellent growth potential and competitive pay with benefits package. Our ideal candidate would have/be:
* Minimum 3 years of NYC experience as Sous Chef with a high-end restaurant.
* Able to work all stations in a HIGH VOLUME kitchen.
* Perform under pressure and work with others as a team, good communication skills necessary.
* Able to work directly with Chef, light expediting, execute daily specials, line support, and good cooking and knife skills.
* Very energetic positive person wanted that possesses an excellent work ethic, union experience a plus.
*Must be able to lead team of 10+ staff members.
References & Food Handlers Permit required.
