Responsibilities - Service Manager:
-
Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and assists in consistently achieving them.

Hires, trains, motivates, and monitors the performance of the service department team members.

Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the service department.

Maintains reporting systems required by general management and the factory.

Attends managers meetings.
-
Provides technical assistance to employees as needed.

Ensures customer complaints, etc. are solved fairly and quickly.

Ensures shop equipment is properly maintained and repaired.

Ensures service department employees follow safety policies.
Qualifications/Requirements - Service Manager:
Automotive Service Manager experience required-
Toyota experience highly preferred

Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

A positive attitude, good work ethic and top problem-solving skills.

Ability to operate the department at a profit according to dealership guidelines.

Valid driver's license and good driving record.
