Working Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
We have an opportunity for a full-time, experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our amazing team!
Summary:
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will take on an important role within our warehouse team. Your expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, and communication will help streamline processes and ensure the efficient movement of goods. You will work closely with both associates and specialists to meet operational goals.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Fulfill and invoice orders in SPS Commerce system - MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE USUING THIS SYSTEM!
Perform daily warehouse activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
Coordinate and assign tasks to Warehouse Associates based on priorities and skills.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the team to optimize stock placement.
Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
Conduct regular audits based on SKU discrepancies that are flagged and immediately and accurately resolve.
Train new Warehouse Associates on proper procedures and safety protocols.
Communicate with other departments to facilitate the timely fulfillment of orders.
Handle and resolve issues, such as shipment delays or inventory shortages.
Operate warehouse equipment including, but not limited to, sit down forklift, class 2 lift, and pallet jack.
Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus.
Sit down forklift lift and class 2 lift certified.
Clean DMV record and CA drivers license.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
Knowledgeable working in SPS Commerce EDI system.
Proficiency in using inventory management software (ERP), preferably NetSuite.
Experience in google suite and basic excel.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read, write and speak in English.
Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
Knowledge of warehouse and equipment safety regulations and procedures.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
May also engage in frequent bending, stopping, squatting, climbing stairs, pushing and pulling.
Bending to lift items from the floor and racks.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
