JOB SUMMARY:
The Regional Operations Director directly supervises and coordinates activities of multiple assigned practices and supports Practice Managers in managing day-to-day operations. Responsible for profit & loss and overall success of the assigned practices in the local market. This support is crucial to the delivery of the company’s mission of helping children achieve a lifetime of great oral health.
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field, Master’s degree preferred

5+ years of experience in healthcare operations management
-
Multi-site management experience, required

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implements and ensures ongoing compliance with all operational policies, procedures, and training programs, in all assigned dental/orthodontic offices.

Responsible for operational and financial performance of all assigned dental/orthodontic offices, as defined in the budgetary process.

Responsible for high level oversight of all assigned facilities related projects, included but not limited to, office relocations, remodels, de novo set-up etc.

Responsible for oversight of new affiliations within the assigned region.

Reviews and analyzes operating statements on a monthly basis to ensure dental/orthodontic office objectives are met.

Reviews dental/orthodontic offices operating systems and available operational reports to ensure ongoing process improvement.

Provides support to Practice Managers and support staff for compliance with regulations, in accordance current company and/or other regulatory requirements.

Monitors, evaluates and recommends changes to policies and procedures to enhance service.

Supports Clinical Director to identify and resolve problems with service to customers.
- Assists Operations in preparing and maintaining annual budgets for assigned practices.

Coordinates involvement of dental/orthodontic leadership teams in the budget process in conjunction with other market leadership team members.

Monitors marketplace trends and gathers competitive information, in conjunction with marketing leadership.

Facilitates the implementation of and ensures adherence to all corporate policies, procedures and initiatives.

Assist the Practice Managers with the hiring, training and development of all support staff.

Hires, trains and develops Practice Managers.

Coordinates with the Practice Managers the staffing on a daily basis, based on budgetary, patient flow, employee illness and other relevant factors.

Coordinates vendor selection in order to minimize the cost of out-sourced services.

Assists with resolution of customer issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.
