Job Description:
Summary:
Open, process and close refinance and sale transactions with appropriate supervision. Effectively communicates with all interested parties including lenders, principals, realtors, co-workers, and all other department personnel. Must be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Verifies and reviews all information in the preliminary report/title commitment while clearing title requirements by researching discrepancies, obtaining lien releases, and clearing any other encumbrances.

Task to Central Processing Unit (CSD - CPU), i.e. payoff, HOA and utility demands that appear on preliminary report/title commitment and/or Seller/Borrower Information Sheets.

Pull tax roll from assessor and review for accuracy and potential assessments and/or liens.

Assist in quoting fees and charges.

Request/authorize loans to fund, receipt in funds, disburse funds including but not limited to sending out payoffs.

Schedule appointments, assembling documents for signing for both inside and outside of the office.

Assist with customer(s) signing of documents inside the office, as assigned by Escrow Officer and/or Branch Manager.

Upload all documents in appropriate category in the electronic filing system.

Document all conversations relative to each file, this will allow each team member to be informed as to the status of the file.

Assemble and submit completed Policy Write Up Instruction to the Title Department. This includes reviewing all documents to be recorded for accuracy and completeness.

Prepare funding packages, provide conditions, receipt in funds.

Assist with training other personnel, guiding them to reach maximum efficiency and production of the branch.

Continues escrow education either through company training webinars/seminars/meetings or through outside sources (i.e. Escrow Association).

Complies with Company policies, procedures, Employee Handbook, regulatory requirements, and complete mandatory company compliance training by prescribed deadlines.

At a minimum, the ability to work your scheduled office hours, Monday through Friday.

Ability to work overtime as requested by management.

Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone, video conferences and in person.

Demonstrates courtesy, professionalism and is proactive and responsive to co-workers and customer needs and expectations.

Other duties that may be assigned.
Knowledge & Skilled Required:
-
Knowledge of title insurance policies, endorsements, and title pricing.

Knowledge of escrow documents, escrow fees and terminology.

Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

Ability to work in fast paced environment while successfully performing under extreme time constraints and meets prescribed deadlines.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects.

Ability to act independently with sound judgment and take initiative.

Written and verbal communications are clear, grammatically correct and business appropriate.

Ability to perform the essential job functions of Receptionist position. May be required to back-up and/or assist the Receptionist as needed.
