Salon Assistant Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Salon Laundry:
- Complete all laundry tasks for the salon.
- Tool Sanitation:
- Utilize the autoclave to sanitize specialists’ tools.
- Clean and Non-Toxic Environment:
- Maintain a clean and non-toxic space before, during, and after each service.
- Provide bowl and towel service for specialists during services.
- Clean and sanitize water bowls for manicures and pedicures.
- Assist specialists in setting up for their appointments.
- Clean up after specialists’ services.
- General Cleanliness:
- Sweep and Swiffer at the beginning and end of opening/closing shifts.
- Complete bathroom checks every hour to replenish hand towels and toilet paper, and wipe down sink and toilet areas.
- Dress Code:
- Follow the salon’s dress code.
- Teamwork:
- Treat fellow colleagues with respect and work together to promote a team environment.
- Beverage Station:
- Replenish the beverage station as needed.
- Shift Accountability:
- Be accountable for your shifts by finding coverage when necessary.
- Check with front desk staff each week to ensure your hours are correct.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
