Receptionist Summary:
Provides administrative support to the Accounting / Escrow Department, and Office Management, through a variety of related responsibilities. The position requires an ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines, good judgment and a professional, supportive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Answering/ screening incoming telephone calls and greet/screen guests in a friendly, polite and professional manner.

Clerical needs include scheduling appointments, calling customers, bulk mailings, typing, updating phone and community lists, etc.

Responsible for stamping, sorting and routing of all incoming U.S. Postal mail and office deliveries.
- Requires computer proficiency in various software programs for typing reports, business letters, memorandums, presentations, and other correspondence in an accurate and timely manner. Includes some composing and/or transcribing of correspondence.

Assist in the preparation and processing of all paperwork relative to department operations as required.

Organize and maintain a central filing system as well as working files for administrative matters and chronological correspondence.
- Make photocopies, fax and file documents for department as requested.

Order, secure, maintain, and store office supplies including business cards, and stationary items. This includes kitchen area(s).

Assist with scanning, filing, archiving documents within appropriate internal departments.
- Assists Office Management with office equipment including copiers, postage meter, and arranging for service and maintenance of office equipment.
- and Accounting and Escrow with various tasks/duties as required.

Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- One (1) - three (3) years related work and office experience preferred; preferably with homebuilding or related industry

High School diploma or GED required

Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to self-manage time and offer accurate and timely feedback
- Intermediate to advanced PC skills Microsoft Word and Excel. PowerPoint & JD Edwards a plus

Must possess professional appearance and demeanor

Works well under pressure and is capable of handling multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines

Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is primarily a sedentary office position, which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies and materials weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator. May be required to operate a motor vehicle.
