Description:
The Complex Director of Sales will provide sales leadership for top line revenue generation, including identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and closing business for the assigned property, as well as overseeing the property sales and service teams.
Requirements:
Solicit, negotiate and book both new and repeat business- Responsible for the leading and driving top line revenue for traditional sales segments to include group, transient and catering business
- Assess and react to market trends, market share and the completive hotel market
- Meet or exceed Budgeted REVPAR for hotels
- Develop and implement key segment strategy and managing key accounts for both existing and target accounts
- Develop sales goals designed to achieve budget and market share targets
- Attend specific industry and clients’ events as well as trade shows
- Prepare hotels’ annual marketing and sales plans based on the hotel’s position and strengths within each market segment
- Direct, train coordinate and supervise the Sales and Catering team
- Work closely with the Director of Revenue in forecasting occupancy fluctuations based on changing market conditions and direct selling.
Job Qualifications:

At minimum of 3 years’ experience as a sales leader with prior hotel sales experience

Proven track record of successes in achieving revenue objectives.

Proficient in DELPHI sales system preferred
