Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Medical Assistant to join our pioneering health program at our Boulder, CO clinic. This role is perfect for individuals who are committed to patient care and thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct phlebotomy and administer injections, including testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12, and other vitamins.
- Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals.
- Manage patient check-in processes, verifying personal and insurance information.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
- Record and monitor patients' vital signs.
- Collect and prepare lab specimens for analysis.
- Assist in medical coding and billing procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records in EMR and adhering to all HIPAA Protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant training program.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Experience in a related field, such as medspas, urology, family practice, lab, endocrinology, gynecology or general practice is preferred.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient with computers and electronic health record systems.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Committed to upholding patient confidentiality.
- No current or pending malpractice lawsuits
