Eagle Health Analytics (EHA) is seeking a talented and professional Application Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the CDC cancer registries in analyzing and studying moderate to complex system requirements including functional business applications. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, but also work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework/SQL server with C#, VB.NET, and application development expertise and have a strong understanding of various operating systems and platforms. An analytical mindset and attention to detail are essential qualities for success in this role.
Key Experience and Skills:
- Develop, document, and implement NAACCR file upload functionality on CS-CBCP
- Develop, document, and implement pathology follow-back functionality on CS-CBCP
- Port, develop, and document Web Plus administration functionality on CS-CBCP
- Develop and maintain documentation of applications, services, and functionality implemented on CS-CBCP
- Enhance and maintain CS-CBCP environments to support pathology reporting services
- Develop pathology reporting service to receive ePath reports in HL7© 2.5.1 format and route reports to the appropriate CCRs’ secure message queue
- Develop services to facilitate reporting from Laboratory Information System (LIS) to CS-CBCP that will include functionality to
- Create HL7© 2.5.1 messages from a standardized MS Excel format
- Provide a secure transport service
- Enhance and maintain CS-CBCP environments to support pathology and physician reporting services
- Migrate, develop, update, enhance and maintain pathology reporting related functions
- Migrate, develop, update, enhance and maintain physician reporting related functions
- Migrate administration functions
- Update CRS Plus to import data from the Web Plus and eMaRC Plus databases on CS-CBCP
- Update patient/tumor linkage and create a Master Patient Index (MPI)
- Update CRS Plus to export inter-state exchange data to CS-CBCP
- Develop test plan and summary results of test end-to-end data flow from data sources (laboratories, hospitals, physicians, etc.) to Central Registry Applications
- Develop, test, and certify all security requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation of all formal security requirements
- Respond to ongoing/updated security requirements that may not have been initially established during the security requirements gathering sessions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Five (5) or more years’ experience with Microsoft .NET Framework/SQL server with C#, VB.NET, and application development expertise. In-depth experience working with XML, xPath, HL7© 2.x, HL7© FHIR©, and HL7© CDA (Clinical Document Architecture). Developer should have knowledge of the eMaRC Plus ePath and Physician Reporting modules, cancer registry operations, and AZURE TFS/AZURE DEVOPS management software.
Required Experience:
Preferred Education, Certifications, and Soft Skills/Experience:
- Working knowledge of the CDC National Program of Cancer Registries
- Strong team oral and written collaboration, skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, business analysts, other developers, engineers, as well as other professional and scientific personnel
- Experienced in customer service
- Ability to work well under pressure
Physical Requirements:
- Indoors in a normal office environment and/or partial to full work from home. May require extensive periods of sitting or standing. Frequent computer uses at workstation for several hours at a time. Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
