Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4:30p - 3a
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Proven experience operating a forklift
- Valid certification to operate a stand-up forklift (specific training on the stand-up model used will be provided)
- Basic math skills for inventory management, such as counting, addition, subtraction, and measurement conversions
- Proficiency in using a handheld scanner for inventory tracking and material identification
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling materials
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Proficiency in English Language preferred
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate a stand-up or sit-down forklift to transport materials throughout the facility
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas according to company procedures
- Operate a handheld according to WIs to perform WIP completions and create/print LPNS
- Verify that work is accurate and complete and report any discrepancies with your assigned tasks to management as needed
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate workflow and address any issues
- Report damage of product, damage of forklifts, or any unsafe condition to management immediately
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Follow all cGMP guidelines and all SOPs/WIs
- Verify safety inspection sheet and/or iWarehouse checklist has been completed before operating a forklift
- Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to retrieve or store material
- Keep work area clean, orderly, and inspection ready
- Other duties as assigned by Lead Floor Material Handler or Supervisor
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand, walk and/or sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and bending
- Must be able to bend, reach, twist, grasp items, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Anything above 50 lbs requires secondary assistance
