Summary- JOB for KENOSHA, WI
Under the direction of the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance II technician ensures the upkeep of the property grounds, completes apartment turns and work orders as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility’s equipment and structures.
· Assist in preparing vacant apartments to market ready condition as needed.
· Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.
· Responds to resident requests and work orders in a timely fashion and provides detailed notes.
· Performs general cleaning tasks in the facility.
· Performs snow removal including outside of regular business hours as needed.
· Maintain a professional and courteous attitude by providing exceptional customer service.
· Shares availability for emergency on-call.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
· High School Diploma or G.E.D.,
· Two (2) years of experience in a Maintenance I position or equivalent experience.
Knowledge/Skill
· Working knowledge of hand tools and basic building maintenance.
· Ability to troubleshoot.
· CPO certification
· HVAC
Must be dependable, have own tools, reliable transportation. Consistent work history for multifamily apartments.
Pay range depends on experience and certifications, - $40k to $70k

Position requires driving to and from work sites, working outside in all seasons with varying levels of exposure to wind, rain, snow, ice, sun.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
Work is mainly performed in a normal office environment and occasionally completed outside in all weather conditions and on uneven terrain or in garage structures that are often cooler or hotter than normal offices. Noise levels are usually moderate (normal office) and occasionally high due to the use of equipment and the running of vehicle engines.
