Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Program Managers with the execution of multiple projects and tasks for Cubic Transportation Systems' OMNY program, NYC's contactless payment solution for public transit. Supports the program management staff in the preparation of deliverables, internal reports, briefings, and other requirements associated with the project being supported. This position typically works under general supervision and direction and requires some data analysis skills.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifies services and support issues to the program manager with enough lead for timely resolution including Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analytics used to focus the team on activities that enable program to meet its performance targets
- Performs a variety of program administrative duties in accordance with the contract,
policies, procedures and department instructions.
- Provides asset management support and processes parts and spares management orders to support services organization
- Generates and submits customer invoices for monthly progress billings.
- Supports the program managers in performing the following tasks: monthly status reports; scanning and filing documents; Program Management Review (PMR) slides; Failure Review Board (FRB) slides;
- Ensures early or on-time deliveries of all required project/program documentation.
- Monitors programs’ Master Action List (MAL) and ensures timely completion of open actions with stakeholders and program team
- Effectively supports a program within a project or matrix organization.
- Coordinates proposal development, statements of work, specification development and major subcontract management.
- Assists in tracking and monitoring departmental activities including pending matters, schedules, calendar events, etc. Follows up and expedites pending documents and information.
- Attend customer-facing meetings, record proceedings and prepare and distribute meeting information and minutes.
- Maintains departmental records and files.
- Assists in resolving administrative issues and problems and makes referrals to appropriate staff as needed.
- Hybrid position with 4 days weekly in the New York City office. M-F 8 AM-5 PM. #LI-hybrid
Minimum Job Requirements:
High school diploma/GED required, four-year college degree, or equivalent, in a business discipline is preferred, plus a minimum of three years of related experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required; MS Project, SAP, or ServiceNow is desired. Ability to develop an understanding of engineering, operations, systems integration and test, quality assurance, configuration management, logistics, contracts administration, standard business practices, finance, and the relationship of programs within a portfolio. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and make presentations. Requires knowledge of government procurement, contracting, and standards and specifications.

Cubic Pay Range New York only:
$25.00 – $34.37 hourly + benefits.
