The position is responsible for all activities and operations taking place in the Assisted Living community of a given managed community.

Responsibilities:
-
Communicate with residents, family, and staff on an as-needed basis to meet resident needs.

Screen, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise all Care Partner staff in the Specified Care Area.

Complete care staff schedules to assure proper coverage to meet resident needs according to budget.

Assist the Director of Health and Wellness in medication management.

Participate in the maintenance of resident records including review of documentation performed by resident assistants, monthly MAR reviews, setting up the new residents, and thinning records appropriately.

Participate in community functions including family socials and open houses.

Foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, take actions that assist others beyond job responsibilities, and have a positive impact on co-workers, and visitors.

Seek out and perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements:

Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors!

High School Diploma or GED
-
Must have proven management experience and the ability to manage staff.
- Must have Arizona Caregiver Certificate.

CPR/First aide and Food handlers card
-
Arizona finger print clearance card
-
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and e-mail (Microsoft Outlook or Exchange).

Must meet all health requirements, including TB. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Preferred: Director of Resident Care

An associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a field related to the position.

3 years of experience in assisted living
-
Must have prior staffing experience in senior living
