Purpose
As a Laundry Attendant & Custodian, you will be responsible for washing, drying, delivering laundry and must be available to assist in cleaning multiple areas of the facility. Your primary duties will include cleaning of uniform laundry, cleaning tasks, ensuring sanitation standards are met, and contributing to the overall upkeep of the premises.
Core Responsibilities

Provide laundry services for multiple buildings on site.

Collect and Return uniforms from each building.

Perform regular cleaning tasks in between laundry to assist the custodian with sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming floors and surfaces.

Sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure they are maintained in a hygienic condition.

Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and hazardous materials in designated containers while adhering to safety protocols and waste disposal guidelines.

Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe environment for occupants.

Maintain cleaning inventory and ensure an adequate supply of cleaning/laundry materials and equipment.
Qualifications:

Minimum Age of 21 per Florida Medical Marijuana Regulations.

High School Diploma or GED.

Proven experience in laundry, environmental services or custodial work preferred.

Knowledge of detergents, cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.

Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety standards.
Work Environment:

Laundry/Custodians typically work indoors but will be outside walking in between multiple buildings.

Physical exertion and exposure to cleaning chemicals are common.

Must have willingness to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, this employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This position is part time 4 days a week

Monday/Wed/Friday/Saturday 6:00 AM to 1:30 PM with a 30 min lunch

Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM with a 30 min lunch
