Job Description:
As the Dealership Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department while maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional service experiences and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff, fostering a positive work environment and a culture of excellence.
- Customer Experience: Champion our commitment to outstanding customer service by ensuring that every customer interaction is professional, courteous, and exceeds expectations.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of service department operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control, to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Financial Management: Develop and implement strategies to maximize service department profitability, while controlling expenses and maintaining budgetary targets.
- Inventory Control: Manage parts inventory effectively, ensuring accurate stock levels, minimizing waste, and optimizing inventory turnover.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for service department staff to enhance their skills and expertise.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and regulatory requirements pertaining to service operations.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate departmental performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive service management or a related leadership role, with a strong track record of success.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage team members.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service experiences.
- Solid understanding of automotive service operations and industry best practices.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed business decisions.
- Proficiency in dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
