Heartland Realty Investors, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager on a very busy Affordable Community in West Jordan, UT
The Assistant Property Manager will have a proven track record in a residential property management position and will work closely with the Property Manager in order to achieve pre-determined goals and objectives.
The Assistant Property Manager will be required to assist with the day-to-day operations and management of the property. In addition to providing comfortable living in an attractive setting, we provide a variety of services and programs to all of our residents. Such programs seek not only to enhance the quality of living, but help to develop an environment that will encourage both professional and communal growth.
The Assistant Property Manager should be fully capable of operating the property in the absence of the Property Manager. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Post rent and HUD repayments daily
- Prepare Resident legal notices (10 day notice to cure, balance due etc.)
- Verify that information on move-in and recertification’s agree with information in the computer
- Handle resident complaints in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner
- Record notices to vacate; interview resident to determine reason for vacating
- Verify applications and process with accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare & process resident and/or applicant annual, interim and initial certifications for Section 8.
- Inspect units with new resident and complete appropriate move in forms/lease documents
- Aid in the all functions relating to collections, NSF’s, warrant process and evictions
- Aid in leasing activities and resident relations
- Answer telephone while maintaining courteous and helpful attitude to residents and prospects
- Plan and direct social activities as needed
- Follow owner and management procedures as directed
- Enter data in Yardi daily
- In the absence of the Property Manager, may supervise turnkey operations, maintenance and other staff functions
- Other duties as may be periodically assigned by Manager
