The Art of Living is a Community and Support Services Agency that provides quality care and support to special needs/developmentally disabled adults. We provide residential services, living support and day program services. A receptionist/admin assistant at The Art of Living, must have experience supporting and/or engaging with special needs adults.
The Art of Living's main office and day program in Tucker, GA is looking for a dynamic and engaging front desk receptionist/admin assistant to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the office as well as providing general office and day program support to our managers, clients, staff and visitors.
The ideal candidate must be friendly, have excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive "can-do" attitude and a strong work ethic.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
- Maintain safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Completes daily attendance for visitors and day program clients
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Maintains confidentiality
- Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents
- Sort incoming mail, faxes, and courier deliveries for distribution
- Prepare and send outgoing faxes, mail, and courier parcels
- Forward incoming general e-mails to the appropriate staff member
- Clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have at least 1 year experience working with or around special needs population
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Background check
- Current CPR/First Aide certification
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs and office equipment
- Proven receptionist or assistant experience
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational ad planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
