Commercial Construction Carpenter-

Location: Various Locations, mainly Kitsap County, some work in Jefferson, Mason & Pierce County. Field team members are expected to provide own transportation to and from jobsites.
Commercial Construction Carpenter - Skillsets
- Operate TRC Trucks, Tools & Equipment (Rented & Owned
- Set up and use laser equipment
- Set up batter boards, building layout & control points
- Calculate slopes & grade
- Convert feet and inches to decimal equivalent
- Understand construction survey & staking
Commercial Construction Carpenter - Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor for safety or security hazards
- Give support & direction to carpenter apprentices and laborers by providing guidance and training as needed
- Plan ahead- be aware of materials, tools, fuels and equipment needs
- Read, understand and follow project plans, specs, shop drawings and install instructions
Commercial Construction Carpenter - Personal Tools Required
- Work boots, gloves, and other appropriate work attire
- Nail bags, Framing nail gun & flush nailer
- Hammer (framing & finish)
- Cordless drill & skillsaw
- Small tools: Utility knife, speed square, framing square, cat’s paw, screw drivers, allen wrenches, Chalk line, Caulking gun, tape measure (25’ & 100’), Screw gun/impact set
- Levels & Plumb bob crescent wrench, socket set, lineman’s pliers,
- Trim bar & Pry bar
