SALES OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
ABOUT THE JOB
- Full time entry level position working with the sales team with onboarding and supporting customers with a large opportunity of growth and opportunity.
- US based offices of an Italian company which designs, manufactures, and distributes luxury amenity brands for the hotel industry. We are a young, fun company which provides a lot of perks for someone willing to think fast and work hard!
- The Sales Coordinator will work closely with La Bottega’s Operations, Accounting and Product Development teams to successfully launch new accounts and support client needs.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Serve as the central contact point between customers, sales reps, and our US based warehouses
- Coordinate development of artwork, arrange for prototypes, track production orders, all while communicating to the sales rep or final customer and managing expectations
- Managing the development of prospecting tools
- Cold calling and uncovering potential leads
- Qualifying incoming leads
- Following up on active prospects
- Developing marketing campaigns and strategies for the territory
- Assist with customer interface and day-to-day account/relationship management
- Creating sales presentations
- Creating quotes, order forms and consumption agreements when NYC office is not available
- Using proprietary software for look ups when NYC office is not available
- Managing sample requests
- Run various sales/ inventory reports, and evaluate the data
- Package and send samples for customer review
Qualifications:
- Experience with operations and customer service
- Hospitality background is preferred but not required
- Very proficient in Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented individual
- Organized, effective, problem solver who is self-motivated and team-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
