The Catering and Event Specialist position presents an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in our company. You will be representing the best of Rodney Scott’s culture, BBQ, and standards to our guests outside of the 4-walls while building lasting and memorable relationships within our community. If you are detail-oriented and extroverted, this leadership role can give you the opportunity to fully develop your interests and talents not only with catering and event planning, but business management as well. You will play an essential role in the success of our business by ensuring that all catering events are executed at the highest level. Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all confirmed catering events, bridging the gap between the sales and operations team. Coordinating food preparations, scheduling, and serving during the event.
- Manage all off premises/special events. Consulting with the guests to predetermine their needs; formulate catering execution plans and arrange transportation for any equipment used to make sure everything goes smoothly onsite. Supervise event staff during the event to assure food and health industry regulations and company culture are upheld through the entirety of the event.
- Monitoring the par levels of catering supplies and staffing and communicating needs.
- Maintaining the company vehicle(s) including general maintenance, cleanliness and inventory.
- Marketing and general promotion of all company sales revenue centers.
- Continuous cross training in all areas of operations and supporting the general success of the restaurant during off-season.
