Job Description: As a Commercial Laundry Equipment Sales Engineer at Loomis Brothers Equipment Company, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and providing exceptional service to our customers. You will be responsible for understanding the unique requirements of commercial laundry businesses and recommending tailored equipment solutions to meet their needs. Your technical expertise, combined with strong communication and interpersonal skills, will enable you to build lasting relationships with clients and contribute to the continued success and growth of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities within the commercial laundry sector.
2. Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and requirements, including site visits and consultations, to understand their specific challenges and objectives.
3. Solution Design: Utilize your technical expertise to design customized equipment solutions that address client needs, including washers, dryers, ironers, and other laundry machinery.
4. Product Demonstration: Effectively demonstrate the features and benefits of our equipment to clients, highlighting how our solutions can improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
5. Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals and quotations outlining recommended equipment solutions, pricing, and terms of sale, ensuring alignment with client expectations and budgetary constraints.
6. Sales Negotiation: Negotiate terms of sale with clients, addressing any concerns or objections they may have and ensuring a mutually beneficial agreement is reached.
7. Project Management: Collaborate with internal teams, including installation technicians and customer support staff, to oversee the successful implementation of equipment installations and provide ongoing support to clients.
8. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the commercial laundry market, providing valuable insights to inform our sales and marketing strategies.
9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress, providing regular reports and updates to management as required.
10. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with our products and services.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in sales, preferably within the commercial laundry or industrial equipment sector.
· Strong technical aptitude and understanding of commercial laundry equipment and systems.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels.
· Demonstrated ability to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
· Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
