Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our team. The Assistant Teacher will support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and providing a safe, nurturing learning environment for children. Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Support classroom management and create a positive learning environment
- Provide individualized attention to students
- Help with curriculum development and lesson planning
- Assist with behavior management and conflict resolution
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student progress
- Supervise children during activities and ensure their safety at all times
Skills:
- Knowledge of State Licensing requirements
- Familiarity with curriculum development for early childhood education
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to educate and engage young learners effectively
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques
- Understanding of special education practices
- Experience in toddler care, preschool, or daycare settings
- Passion for working with children and promoting their development
