Senior Manager, Partner Operations
Location: Boston, MA

As part of the Revenue Operations organization, Partner Operations focuses on driving operational excellence across the internal ecosystem for our ~1000 Partners to enable an exceptional partner experience, profitable contribution and ARR growth. As the Senior Manager of Partner Operations, you will report to the Vice President of Commercial Operations and will work close with multiple cross functional teams to deliver superior operational experience to our Partners and Partner ecosystem.
Overview
The Senior Manager of Partner Operations role is where strategy, business and operations converge. You will be the connection point between Partners, Partner Managers and cross functional teams, ensuring that dynamic needs and expectations are known, understood and executed upon. This role is key to ensuring efficient, scalable, consistent and timely provision of operational support to Partners and Partner Managers.
The ideal candidate will be resourceful, have strong business acumen, strong interpersonal skills, be comfortable working in a multifaceted job function within a demanding environment and objectively execute with the best interest of the company in mind.
Responsibilities
Cross Functional Interlock
- Establish and maintain a solid understanding of PTC’s dynamic Partner business.
- Promote and drive cross functional interlock related to all operation aspects of the partner business.
- Develop, manage and maintain relationships with cross functional teams ensuring informed and cohesive management of the Partner business.
- Influence parties who impact, or are impacted by, the partner ecosystem to ensure that strategic, business and operational needs are aligned, and financial outcomes are achieved.
- Influence and support the integration of acquired company partners into the Partner Network program.
- Leverage identified trends, issues and concerns to influence policies and strategic decisions.
Business Inspection, Improvement and Support
- Inspect the execution of operational processes and adherence to polices identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Regional Partner Operations to streamline processes and create global efficiencies.
- Create and manage feedback processes with Partner and PMs/CAMs to identify opportunities increased efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive, manage, participate or recommend projects necessary to improve operational execution.
- Support Partner Network leaders across Channel, Strategic Partners, Technical Partner teams.
- Triage operational issues to drive resolution by accountable parties.
- Collaborate with Commercial Operations Technology team to articulate business requirements and realize business and operational process automation and technical improvements.
Your Skills and Knowledge:

o Advanced level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Experience and Qualifications
o Bachelor’s degree + 7 years’ work experience in Finance, Sales Operations or general business function
o Prior experience in the technology industry, in a subscription or SaaS, is highly desirable.
o 5+ years of experience working with Partners (e.g., Resellers, VADs etc.)
o Experience with the usage of Salesforce.com.
o Experience with Partner Relationship Management (PRM) tools.
o Demonstrated ability to work across multiple cultures/geographies.
