This is a remote role but would prefer someone local to the Upstate NY (Steuben County if possible). There may be some onsite training and a very small amount of travel as necessary. Looking for a well organized person who is familiar with using shared files and live spreadsheets to track quoting, order processing and other general administrative work.
Overview:
In this position, you will be part of a global team responsible for supporting our international customers before and after the sale of our products and services. You will act as a link between our customers, the international sales and service teams, order/export processing and accounting to clarify status, production, delivery, and invoice inquiries.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree; bachelor degree preferred.
- Experience in working with ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and on your own responsibility.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications:
- Microsoft Navision
- Experience in customer service for international customers
- Experience in machine / special machine construction in the area of customer support
- Distinct customer orientation
Primary Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Categorize emails and forward to appropriate individuals and departments.
- Evaluation of warranty claims, support of customer returns and their exchange/replacement.
- Independent preparation of quotations for our standard products, services, and systems
- Support and maintenance of customer portals
